Michael is the Director of Design and Planning at LANDinc-STX. He is a retired member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA). Michael has over 31 years’ experience as a professional landscape architect working in the private sector. He is a master facilitator and adept at team coaching and coordination. His varies project experience includes highway, roadway, streetscape, trail and pathway, urban design, park design, and construction projects, many within and for clients in Ontario’s cities and towns.

He is a specialist in context sensitive design methodology and its application to public realm and transportation corridor projects. He brings an appreciation for heritage infrastructure and historic landscapes to redevelopment and restoration projects in roadway, public realm, and park like settings. Michael’s training as a landscape architect and practical experience working closely with engineers and architects has enabled him with an ability to create interesting public amenity features within infrastructure projects.
