Description:
Acadia University commissioned LANDinc’s Halifax office to prepare a detailed
landscape master plan for Acadia University. The long range master plan (100
years) included campus expansion potential, landscape guidelines, campus district
treatments, campus furnishings, environmental infrastructure, and campus signage
and wayfinding recommendations. A complete 3D model of the campus was prepared
to demonstrate the impact of future massing alterations on campus open space.
The master plan was divided into a series of ‘fundable’ projects.
The total
budget for implementing the plan was approximately $11 million dollars.
